This week, I took my 4 year old along as guest judge. We headed out to Silver Valley looking for the best Christmas Lights- and let’s just say our opinions were quite different.
I found this house- which I think is a great example of simle, tasteful outdoor christmas illuminatation, but of course it was “too boring” for my little girl. However, I think it at least deserves an honorable mention.
Needless to say, we couldn’t find the right house up in Silver Valley, but we did find this great example of how to put together blow up outdoor decorations, wooden characters and assorted lights in a classy, organized way. My little girl decided that this house found on 125 A ave, just off of 227 is this week’s winner.
Congratulations to this week’s “Best on the Block” winner. We love that you care about curb appeal! If this is your house..or even if it’s not, be sure to leave us a comment.

My dad has worked hard over the years to get the decorations made and then put out! I am so happy for him that he is recognized! Thank you! Merry Christmas to everyone!!
This is why I love this Best On The Block award! Thank you for your comments.
Congratulations old friend your effort has been rewarded. Your work brings enjoyment to many people.
Hi Andrea,
I did leave a reply thanking you for picking us as this weeks winners or at least I thought I did but I don’t see it posted maybe you didn’t put it up cause it’s from the winner or did I post it in the wrong place maybe?
Anyway, thanks again.
Wayne
Hi Wayne, not sure what happened to the comment. Comments on this site don’t need to be approved by me, and I certainly welcome comments from the winner! It’s great to hear from you, great job on the Christmas Lights and decorations!
